    My First and Last 3D SketchUp

    So, here is the first one.

    This slideshow requires JavaScript.

    I had created this long back in Decemeber of 2006. The file cab.skp (Google SketchUp file) was lying in my system since ages. Tried opening it today, discovered there is no Linux support for its viewer/editor (you listening Google?). After some fiddling with Wine and finally resorting to spend some time on a friend’s Windows Laptop, here we are. Quite a piece of art, ain’t it? ;-)

    Title: Zebronics GeForce Case 2

    Description: The glowing big-forehead alien cabinet of my PlatiniumV2.

    If somebody is interested, I found a review of the cabinet.

    UNIX is basically a simple operating system, but you have to be a genius to understand the simplicity.

    My Old Projects

    DAV Public School Website – Done in class 9 (2004)

    This website was done by me when I was studying in standard 9. As a product of an inter house web design competition (which yours truly won while facing other participants who were all seniors ranging from classes 10 to 12), this website inspired me to step further into web design.

    DAV Public School Website – Done in class 10 (2005)

    This was just a renovated version of the older site but with a lot of loaded content, included some videos of the school. This was done as a project for my Introductory Information Technology course at school. Currently the zip for this project is not available with me.

    Tic Tac Toe (T3, a game developed in C/C++) (2006-2007)

    Tic Tac Toe (T3), a two-player game developed in C/C++ in 2006-2007

    For the school project in C++ in standard 11, I chose to make a game. Although the game doesn’t feature AI, it demonstrates the graphics and sound capabilities of C/C++ with Turbo C++ compiler.

    Here is the link to the code (I can’t support it any more, so please don’t ask if you are unable to run it.):

    LibManage (A library management system made using C++) (2007-2008)

    Again, for school project in C++ in standard 12, I developed LibManage. This was done using the latest version of Visual C++ packaged in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition which is available for download for free. Working for this project I was introduced to Standard C++.

    This was my first experience with real web hosting and a live website. Not many major changes from the previous site were done (except for the addition of message and photo of the new Principal of the school). Although the website didn’t develop further because of clash of ideas between the Principal and me, but I learned a lot about web hosting and this laid the foundation for TechGlider.com (now TechGlider.in), my own website which was launched on July 31, 2008.
